Peter Forsberg has never been traded *edit* except for the Lindros trade.

For the record, I never said the series was over, if thats what you were hinting at.

I was arguing specific plays, hits and players.

Forsberg has been awesome these last two games, and I'm really glad for that, but (and I doubt anyone will agree) had Lindros not had the concussions he would have been a better player than Forsberg.

I think it is possible that Lindros would have been better, but Forsberg seems to have a greater will to win. I think had Lindros never been made captain, it would have helped his development and the team as well. He seemed to pout at times which I don't think Forsberg is capable of. But skillwise, they were different players, each dominant in his own right.

IF, IF, IF..

IF Forsberg had just half of his bodyparts left then he would be better then Gretzky ever was

That's what I said, "if." You should have realized that at the first post.

The biggest mistake this franchise made was giving the captaincy to a player strictly because of his skill set, it was obvious that his maturity wasn't there. Hell, draft day was a prime example of just why he shouldn't have been captain.

Forsberg is the best all around player in the last decade.

Lindros was bigger, hit people like a freighttrain, had an amazing slapper..

But Forsberg´s vision, balance, heart, passing & puckhandlingskills, strenght and desire to win/hatred to lose, is second to none.

I´d take a healthy Forsberg at his peak over Lindros at his peak.

Especially when you look at the fact that Forsberg takes it to a whole other level come postseason.

Lindros would have surely been better, that being said Forsberg is the best player in the game today...

He keeps up his play from games 3 and 4 and I'll buy that for any price you ask.

This is why you guys brought him in. He's the best player in the world and no one on Buffalo can touch him.

They can touch him... but they usually fall backwards when they do.

What year did Lindros get the concussion that ended his career as a "superstar"? He took a few of them, but which one was "the one".

Scott Stevens....199.......8?
