That thread attacking our mods had to go.

I'm the one who asked Caniacforever to take care of it and I have no regret at all. Are you a Kanye West clone?

No, but honestly... they delete our posts over there AND they come here and take away our Habs threads? Honestly, that's ridiculous. I can't wait to see these posts just disappear though.

Those were NOT Habs threads and he only closed them. Those two threads attacked our mods openly and had no reason to stay open. Those cases are EXACTLY why there is global mods on here.

It's not an 'us vs them' deal. Those mods have permission to delete threads here because they're mods first, fans-of-X-team second (on these forums). Caniacforever's been around for a long time and is as impartial as they come when dealing with situations like this.

Honestly, if you have a complaint about him, send it to one of the designated Hab mods, or one of the main moderators on these forums. Bringing these sort of complaints to this forum does nothing good.

Their mods have no business on your forum - if they don't like it, don't view it. This is for Montreal fans!

I'd be pretty annoyed if Detroit's MODS edited the Oilers forum - that would be BS.

Hell yeah!

All of a sudden their team is in the playoffs, so jump on the bandwagon, they aren't true hockey fans like us.

Well to be fair, ranting is good and i think it's better to let some ranting go than just deleting threads. It's jsut more frustrating. I think closing is better than deleting. Deleting is mean.

Should the canes moderator stay out of the habs board? Maybe. At least, be less active after a 2 wins come back by the canes As long as we stay here with our ranting threads, we don,t hurt nobody imo.

They have deleted just a few too many ranting thread. I mean it's our board...I would like to feel like it.

He did'nt edited or deleted anything. He closed threads who had only one purpose: bashing our Mods.

It's funny, everyone can handle people trashing the refs to no end, but when OUR officials get the tiniest bit of criticism they can't handle it. Typical.

What is the most of all is that Habs fans using private messaging and asking the moderator of opposite team to take of Habs forum. Habs moderators can deal with personal attacks don’t worry about them.

A habs mod was here after the game and for a while. No need for 20 threads about the game and I can understand that they don't want to spend their whole Friday night editing post and giving warning.

I talked to CF during it happened and was on the board. He only stopped the Mods bashing.

Well then my beef is with the overzealous habs moderator

Like that time where a buddy of mine posted a pict of a Gerber toilet. It was hilarious, but somehow, it got deleted...I mean we are on the habs board, I don't see Bruins moderators checking to make sure habs players aren't mocked....

I'm simply going to lock this thread, and let the Montreal Moderators determine the proper amount of warning points and whatnot.

As I said in the last thread, i'm perfectly within my rights to come to this board and moderate, but I don't think it's in good form. I only came to this board to close/delete those two threads that were obviously bashing your moderators. I don't take kindly to that, and neither do they. Had they been on, I would have PM'ed them to do it themselves. I'm not stupid. I understand how well recieved any moderation I do on this board will be.

I have no desire to harrass Montreal fans, because i'd resent it if it was the other way around as well. However, you must take into account that i'm not just a Carolina Moderator. I'm a Global Moderator. That means i'm one of the few people that has the ability to take care of instances like the one from earlier when they get out of control. I would have done the same thing had a poster from the Dallas board come to me with the same problem. I don't go out looking for Montreal threads to edit or delete on the Montreal board. Those two threads I closed were my first, and god willing last, interferences on this board. The guys here do a great job keeping it clean, and I was only providing back up. If threads like those, and this one for that matter, weren't created then there would have been no problem.

In closing, i'll simply say that you're lucky i'm not as vengeful as a few of my contemporaries. I'll let the regular Montreal mods take care of it from here. I've got enough to handle with people invading the Hurricanes board.

I have to say reading a thread like this and other threads attacking the mods, makes me ****ing sick. You are guests at this site, so you have to follow the rules and since the site is so big, the site needs mods to try and keep things from getting out of hand. So either you follow the rules or go create your own website where you can feel free to do and say whatever floats your boat. If you don't follow the rules, you will end up being banned.

In the future if you have any problems with anything a mod has done, pm either me or the other Hab mods or go to Gee Wally or other super mods. I know some of you are just young kids, but others really need to grow the **** up!
