My Flames Team

If I were the GM of the Flames this is how it would look

Gagne Reinprecht Iginla
Saprykin Stefan Kobasew
Lombardi Yelle Clark
Lowry Betts Donovan
Oliwa Fedoruk

Warrener Lydman
Regehr Leopold
Gauthier Montador

To Cgy To Phi
Simon Gagne Conroy
Todd Fedoruk McAmmond
Mike Richards Trubachev
2nd round
Future Considerations

Flames need a quality Phi is going for the cup this year
and consistent scorer and they may be willing to sacrifice
and Gagne needs a some of the future to break there
change of scenery to Stanley cup drought. This would be
jumpstart his career a deadline deal so BC will
Sutter will demand overpay for these two UFA.
Richards if he is going EX. Adam Oates
to trade 2 of his best

To Cgy To Det
2004 2nd round Martin Gelinas

There is no need Another deadline deal
to pay 2.4M for a this will just give Det
3/4 line player another vet to help for there run

To Cgy To Atl
Patrick Stefan Taratukhin
2004 4th round Ference
2004 3rd

The Flames despratly Stefan is not worth
need offensive help that much anymore
and like Gagne it and Atl will be willing
might do his some to deal this 3rd line C
good to get a change especially if they get
of scenery plus it Comrie (witch is
gives the Flames looking quite likely)
some depth at C

By the way I expect the Flames to make the playoffs and I would do those dealine deals even if we were in a playoff spot. My reasoning is that the flames won't have the money to sign those UFA and rather them walking for nothing I think we could get some help from them with this being the last year before the lockout many teams will pay a kings ransom for some UFA to help them for a run at the cup

They'll be lucky to get out of the first round with Jeff Hackett as their starting goalie.
