Damn... which one has been the better team so fare? What i have read Dallas has pressured lot more and shots tell something too. Hope Lehtinen will make again one important goal

Really rough loss there for Dallas. I thought that the Stars had dominated the overtime and its always rough to lose those games especially when they eliminate you from the playoffs. The Stars had a great year but it has to be very disappointing to be knocked off in the first round by the seventh seed. Better luck next year guys.

1-4 against the Avs. That's really tough and surprising for the Stars.

Somewhere along the line you need to win an overtime game and the Stars went 0-3.Props to the AVS,they just wanted it more.

I'm sure you guys want to forget about it, but it was a good series. Even though it only lasted five games, the Stars played hard... all the games they lost except for game 1 were competitive games and they had a great chance to win the other three. I guess that's the NHL playoffs for you. Looking forward to the Avs/Stars games next season...

Good series to all of you, I winced at every shot going to Theo, but he really did a great job holding off the pressure. Dallas did a great job of sending shots at him, their best efforts today, with strong defense that was keeping us out for the beginning of OT.

I was going crazy when I saw Modano step back on the ice, thought that could have been the end of the game for us.

At the end of last game, I was thinking about how whenever the Avs lose, they lose big. And a game 7 comeback win for Dallas seemed like something that was possible. Great efforts and good series. Makin' me nervous for a while!

It was like Stars vs Oilers in the past. All playoffgames close but only one team had the luck to win the close ones, so the seriesresult was more clear than the matchup was...

Even when it was 0-3 I thought the Stars looked better than last year. Great series.

Great series. Bummer about Modano, hope everything is well. And I hope you decide to hang onto Turco because he was strong all series. Good luck in the offseason.

Very tough loss, we had nearly 50 shots and some great chances in overtime. But we couldnt seem to solve Joe Sakic, I nearly pissed myself every time he was on the ice.

Stu Barnes was the MVP of that game for me, he was playing like a man possessed.

Anyway, good luck to the Avs, you guys earned it.

On behalf of Oiler fans: we are sorry for your loss. We were looking forward to playing you guys in the new NHL. Pronger, Samsonov, Peca, and Rollie the goalie have brought our organization back to where it belongs.

When you have 50 shots and 2 goals then you will almost never win. Just ask Detroit when they played the Ducks in 2003. At least I can enjoy the playoffs without having to worry about Dallas anymore, but someday they will return to the glory days of 1999. Avs could play either Detroit, Anaheim, or San Jose (most likely). The Sharks are phenomenal so it should be a helluva series.

Well this series deserved going till game 7.

It's so frustrating to end the series 1-4 - it just looks far too easy for the Avs on the paper, which wasn't.

But in the end you have to score on those oppertunities to get things going in the playoffs and that's just what the Avs did. The Sakic-Line was fun to watch ... at least now. Good luck for the Avs and I really want the same series for the next year.

For a five games series it was one of the better ones since the Avs moved here. I'm not sure out the Stars.

Three over time games, lot's of skating and scoring very intense.Kind of a miniversion of the Chicago Avs series in 96.

Good luck next season.
