Will Koivu PLay Sunday ???????

This is my first thread, so take it easy on me, I know how passionate some of you are, just like me. But has any one heard if Koivu will be playing on Sunday night, I really hope so because right now they need a spark plug who can pick it up for the boys. And I also heard Begin may be back for tomorrow night's game, anyone heard this or is it just a rumour

Nothing on that yet but I don't think so. If he plays it will be tuesday in Montreal or in game 7 (if necessary) no need to rush Saku yet IMO.

Begin will be back tommorow night
and will be the spark we need

http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/203262.html

Koivu will hopefully be back for game 6 in Montreal .

I am now becoming much more optemistic, this team will come out flying with an all heart sacrifice for the team guy like Begin back in the lineup. Also I expect to see Kostytsin in the lineup. Coming out should be Sunny D and Streit.

GO HABS GO the momentum has shifted.

Bob McKenzie just said no...

The report in La Presse is, apparently, too optimistic... there still is too much blood behind the eye to run all the tests.

I think La Presse is just trying to play a mind game with the Canes. There is no way Koivu could play on sunday nor tuesday. However, it would be nice if they present Koivu at the Bell Centre just to pump up the team.

I don't understand some of you who are saying that he's done for the year or for the series...we don't even know exactly how bad the injury really is. If its only a cut and the blood can be remove fast enough, Koivu will be able to play sooner rather then later...

He's out for Sunday for sure...most likely out for game 6...and after that, we will surely know if he will be able to comeback.

The problem with the eye injury is he can't see. See it's not like other injuries. The the presse is right, give him a full cage and let him play. If not then he wont
