Glad it's Brunet that wrote it. His credibility is good. McGuire was hinting yesterday afternoon that it sounded worse than that, and that concerned me as he has a direct source. Brunet probably spoke to someone at the end of the day, and if so, that's great news.

Absolutely fantastic news for Saku...now if his team can respond by making it to the second round...who knows...

Absolutely awesome news to wake up to. No damage to the eye, only a huge cut under it and no fracture of the orbital bone. It's even possible he could return this series.

Hope this holds, awesome news! In "Saku-scale" would be a truly lucky break.

Yes!!

I don't care if he comes back this series or next season, I'm just happy it might not be so bad after all.
([edit] well, now that I think of it, I actually DO care if he comes back this series... :p )
([re-edit] And then I could change that buttugly avatar of mine...wheee. )

It clearly said 'under' rather than 'on' ? Good, I mis understood.

Yessir, sous = under.

The only point of caution is the fact the source is not from the Habs organization. But Brunet adds he talked with Gainey after Gainey's PC last night and Gainey was ''encouraged'' by what he heard from the doctors.

Thank goodness. Honestly, this guy deserves a 20 year run of good fortune after what he's been through.

Great news. With the speculation I've been hearing for the past few days I was bracing myself for the worst. Some even speculated his career could be over. I'm glad the sensationalists were wrong!

Take all the time you need to fully recover Saks!

Nooo! Don't!! I know I won't. Anything is still possible the series' tied, not lost and I can't imagine our guys playing the way they did last night for the rest of the series. Instead of dreaming why don't we imagine this :

#11 and #22 back for either one of the next two games ! How could we lose?!?

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!
