I know what you are trying to say with mixing it up for some life, but removing Huet is like removing the only thing that is keeping us alive. Putting in Abby might work, but it might not. Abby is unknown, whereas we know what to expect from Huet.

We need the people infornt of him to show some god damned character and play with heart. Brutal effort tonight.

Where has Ribiero been all series? He is aweful and easy to push around, sure the loss of Koivu hurts but when our #2 isn't helping well that makes it even worse!

We looked aweful one on one along the boards, we look tired and we are getting beat to all the pucks...Montreal is letting this slip away because of a lack of intensity and heart, a different team better show up on Tuesday or everyone will be watching Theo and the Av's and crying "why did we ever let him go"....I don't want to hear that whine all summer.

Guys that have to be let go are the same that quit during the season, the same guys quit once more like expected. Gainey is aware of that and tried to get rid of them during the season but it didn't work.

Now let's work at winning game 6 and we'll keep the offseason talk for the offseason.
Ryder doesn't have the speed to compete in the new NHL, he's too slow. The next Dags in my opinion.

Regarding the dumping of players, I'm just frustrated as without Gerber, it would've been the off-season for us right now. I can wait two more days to start chatting about it. Trust me, I'd love the Habs to prove me wrong, but watching this team for the last 20 years, we ONCE AGAIN don't have **** this year again and will be hoping for next year.

Come on now. This is the playoffs. The habs are trying their best, there is no drama on their part. We are in a tough situation but we are still in it.

Habs need to actually show up next game. It was an awful game to watch. We went from dominating the first 3 games to being dominated at this freakin game tonight. Really disappointed with the lack of urgency out there that our boys demonstrated but I hope those veterans can regroup on the plane trip back home and refuel their tanks and win one on Tuesday.

Man was that ever frustrating to watch - partly cos of some of the play from our boys and partly because of the canes commentary (example - on the 1st goalie int. call against the canes, they were saying that huet was out of his crease and the canes player didn't know what route he would take to get back in his crease. he was 2 feet out at most!!)

I know that a lot of people dont want the team overloaded with rookies, especially at this time of year, but if that is all we can expect from some of our veteran players, **** 'em, sit their ***** in the stands and play some more kids cos i swear if we do end up losing game 6, i'd rather see the kids bust a gut and get edged than zednik, bulis, ryder and ribs mail it in again. Bulis at least beat off one icing call, struggling to remember anything positive of zed, ribs or ryder.

And again, we gotta be undisciplined at the most crucial of times, unbelievable. I hope that Kovalev continues to make an impact, Huet does his job, the rookies continue to show us how playoff hockey should be played and the Bell centre crowd screams their lungs out. the defense also did a good job tonight, the canes could only score on the PP. We could have had that game but most guys can't score. Pez deserves a shot on a line with Kovalev, he is an offense type player, lets use him as such. And i would love to see Kostitsyn in the lineup for the next game, he hits better than ribs/zed/ryder/bulis, he can shoot better than at least 3 of them, same with passing. As for lack of experience, adrenaline will take over, he would want to impress ahead of next year and i honestly believe he could help this team which struggles so much creating quality scoring chances. He has the shot, passing and stickhandling we need, lets hope we get to see him use it.

Come on Habs, you gotta win at least 1 game for Saku, otherwise he should feel entitled to give the lot of them a good thrashing.

anyways, thats surely enough ranting from me, here is to the Montreal Canadiens winning the series on Carolina ice in game 7.

GO HABS GO

What do you guys think is the difference in this series so far.Is it the play of Ward since he as played or the injury to Koivu.IMO Ward as not been really tested in his 3 games but as made some good saves to give his team the chance to win and they have responded.I think the turning point was the injury to Koivu who is the heart and soul of this team. The team as not played well since Koivu as gone down and the offence and overall play of the team as really shown how much the Captain is missed.Habs need to jump on the Canes early in Game 6 and play some desperate hockey and for gods sake get someone in front of Cam Ward so he can't see the puck.Sheed36 signing off for the night.Go Habs in game 6!!!

he still scored 30 goals and scored the ot winner in the 2nd game. You can't have 12 forwards that are all the same. Right now the problem is that Bulis, Zednik, Ribeiro, Bonk all give you the same and that is nothing.

At least Ryder can score once in a while. If he's used too often that's not his fault. He's not the kind of player who has to play 20 minutes to get his points.

I feel the same that Ward hasn't been really tested, we aren't creating any traffic infront or taking any high percentage shots...if we are shooting on bad angles and from the blueline he is going to stop them all the time, but if we get in close make some screens well its a whole new game and Ward will have to play big then.

Montreal needs to make Ward steal the next game, not give it to him like they have the last 3.

Damn bad game. How come our forwards never go to the net with the puck? they are always giving it to our D. I know we have good shots from the point but damn it would be good to make some different plays sometimes!

Now we are at the edge of the chasm, maybe they will start to show some punch.. what did the Hurricanes change in their game to make us struggle like that!?

Why is Bulis still on the powerplay and how did we manage to be that bad when entering the zone..?

I agree, Candiens don't have to make any gifts to Zednik, Bulis and Ribeiro because they were here all year long. Right now they're doing nothing, so insert Perezoghin with Plekanec and Kovalev if need be and run 3 lines and keep the rest on the bench.
