This is the reason why Ribeiro wont have a long NHL carreer

and will not be resigned!

The worst player of both team tonight, QUITE BRUTAL.. awfully weak and slow. Always one big step behind the play.

Are you even watching the game??? How do you manage to be so wrong all the time, it's pretty sad.

Ribs have another good game and is one of our best players in this serie.

Honestly, you need to start watching the games without being biased about which players you love and which ones you hate if you want to start judging their performances like that cause it's clear you watched the game by seeking for every mistake the guy did because he didn't play that poorly and was one of our best players recently.

Rib's game was alright. Ryder on the other hand was BRUTAL.

Whole line looked weaker than in previous matches. This is exactly what happens when good players face great checking players. I don't have anything bad to say about Ribs and Bulis, they played well. But Kovalev is another story....

Sorry bud your absolutely retarded if you don't think Bonk was our worst player tonight. Not to mention that Kovalev is the sole reason that 3rd goal (which shouldn't have counted) went in.

It's not only Ribeiro who have been bad, but all the 1st two lines. The only good line tonight was the Plekanec's one...

How did you figure that one out?

I agree re: Kovalev, although all the attackers were a bit rubbish today, you'd expect better from him.

Maybe I'm retarded or any one of the other well thought out adjectives in the thread, clever letter spacing,Habs Baby, but in this particular instance, I agree that Ribs had a brutal game. I won't get dramatic and doom the rest of his career, but he broke every cardinal rule you could imagine tonight. He made soft passes into the slot that were picked off and turned into odd man rushes, he did the one thing you can't do on the rush, shoot wide on the far side. That one led to the disallowed goal, he continually couldn't control loose pucks, the list can go on. It wasn't a lack of effort, maybe he was tight, trying to do too much, but he had a bad game. I was quick to praise him when he played well a few nights ago, so I'll be honest again. He wasn't the only forward to struggle, but he did.

I agree Ribero was not the great tonight. There were others, someone mentioned Ryder but atleast he has done something. There have not been much contribution from Ribs this series.

Weren't both skates in the crease before the puck? That's what I saw anyway. Huet had no chance to move on that goal and Kovalev.....well he turned his back on Brind'amour....Say what you will about Ribs, he may have missed some good chances, but he wasn't a bone head in his zone.

Where were Bonk and Higgins?
Ryder is not a one man show, Ribs, on the other other hand thinks he is, trying to emulate Kovalev .
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Ribeiro basher but I thought he was trying to do too much out there...

You know, if you expressed the opinion without the drama, it might be discussed rather than slammed. I don't think Gainey and Carbo are planning any executions.

I think the mistake on that goal came from whoever was supposed to be covering Recchi. But yes Kovalev could've done better.

He was one of the few players who looked like they actually gave a **** out there. Bonk better be on the ****ing 4th line next game.

This topic should renamed "This is the reason Kovalev will never be a good leader" Take away his space and provide good checking to his game and he is nowhere to be seen. Carolina played very tight with him today. The result of that was invisibility of AK and the whole line. As I said I have nothing bad to say about Ribs and Bulis. They played up to their potential. On the other hand Kovalev should have been much better.

Kudos to Pleks and Perezhogin, they fought like Gladiators.

Ribs was one of the better players...what are you talking about....get rid of this thread immediately. One thing I can't stand is stupidity and stupid people. Ribeiro was coming back defensively and hitting and creating chances. If anyone was bad tonight, it certainly wasnt Ribs. Go away.
