I agree with you! the series is not yet over. Habs in 7 is my number one thought right now.

I saw it in 04 against boston, and I'll say it again, Always have faith boys. It ain't over untill it is over. The drive for 25 has not yet come to a halt.

I would like Chara but it's very unlikely.

Because the way this poll is been exposed is obviously a way to tell it's time to move on on this season.

Which we arent ready to agree with at all. The habs are still the best 5 on 5 team in this serie and there are no reason why we wouldnt have at least a fair chance to stay alive tomorrow.

Talks to me about the possibility of adding a player in 2 months, i got no problem with that. Talks to me about it BECAUSE you are considering this season over and i wont talks.

The season will end regardless whether the Habs lose the next game or not. If you don't want to discuss the topic due to superstition or whatnot that is fine, but don't assume that those who do wish to discuss the topic have given up hope.

I though the title did not allow for much interpretation. If it would have been the case, i would have discuss the topic instead of complaining.

But well... i'm optimistic to the dead.

Chara: 8M / year is too much
Redden: staying in ottawa
Sundin: will probably stay in TO
Arnott: at 4-5M a year??

I'd say that since we are really limited right now in terms of talent, that we are 3-4 really good players away from having a good team and that we don't have any blue chip prospects, rebuilding is necessary. I don't see how the habs could turn suddently in a good team with the assets they have right now, and i'd prefer to see them finish last for a few years if at the end we are a cup contender, then seeing them finish between the 6th and 10th position every year for the rest of my life...

Sundin isn't a UFa and I would want Mats of 2-3 years ago, not Mats on tthe decline today.

We need help up front with size and skill and I hate to say it but a Bertuzzi would have helped a lot in this sseries and I think he could be had for cheap because Vancouver needs to unlaod him and everyone in the league knows it and it won't cost much.

I would like Chara, but I think Redden is more valuable to the Sens than Chara and would be the type of D we need to go on this team. That would allow us to maybe move Souray who I think can shoot but he is a liabilty on D with his missed checks and injury problems.

Rivet looked pretty old and slow at the tail end of this series too, we need some depth at the 4-5 spot on D too.

Our best D in the playoffs are probably the 2 I never thought would be in Boullion and Dandenault.
Komisarek looks strong and can hit, but he looks to be very limited offensively, Markov played the worse hockey of the season for him and I think Streit never got a far shake especially with his strong play at the end of the season.

Either way it looks like we need instant and good help on D first.
