Cote

Would anyone put Cote in? He hits, blocks shots.

I fear that this series now rests on whether or not Koivu can return.

Koivu wont be back and no chance we'll ever see Coté for the playoffs in a habs jersey or ever again for that matter

The D is not the problem. The forwards arent scorring anymore.

Your right I think our defense is fine. The forwards just aren't getting the job done on offense. This offseason Gainey would be wise to acquire or sign at least 1 offensive player for the top 2 lines.

Why won't we see Cote again? He was great during the season.

Who would you have sitting on the bench or in the stands to open up a spot for him?

As far as defensive D goes, Simpson is allready ahead of Cote in the depth chart, so no, I don't see him playing this series. I do like Cote however, and would like to see him get a spot next season.
