Is anyone getting a vision?

I remember a couple of years ago, when we were down 3-1 to the Bruins, 417 to MTL was getting visions of Habs in 7.

417, you getting the vision?

I fell asleep at midnight, my friends, no hope and in despair...and then I had a dream. A dream so terrifyingly real, so unbelievably intense and unfathomably brilliant in its message, my little feeble mind could barely contain it's greatness. Yes, it's 3:18 am and it's a school night, I just woke up from bed and had to write down what I saw as fast as possible before I forget what I have just witnessed...

The hab's bench goes insane as they jump on the ice to congratulate Huet as they score a goal in double overtime of Game 7. The whole stadium goes absolutely quiet.

everyone, lets put on our tinfoil hats.

/renholder falls back asleep.

Maybe his dream pertains to the year 2056 when a stadium is built for the Habs to play in?

For Souray and Ryder... I would certainly take the gamble.

If Gainey could make the guy perform at his best, we would have another steal, just like Kovalev has been one. Latendresse could benefit alot of big Bert presence in the line-up..

Kostitsyn Koivu Kovalev

Bertuzzi Plekanec Latendresse

Higgins Bonk Perezhogin

Begin Lapierre Murray

By the way, I was reading a book about the story of the Canadiens Sunday night... There were a few come-back from 3-2 there.

Also wearing my Huet t-shirt, as for Game 1.

But I'm not the dreamer/vision type.

Gross overpayment... Your trading a top 4 dman and a 30 goal scorer for an overpayed ($5.2m) underachieving PF.

That would be the worst line ever. Hopefully we rid ourselves of Bonk in the off-season. He's a bum.

I would agree that the line would be a waste of Higgins, who could be a 30 goal scorer for us next year if he has the right linemates and keeps progressing like he did this season... but not the worst line ever. Bonk isn't the offensive Bonk he used to be, but he's not a total bum. I think he's a pretty solid 3rd-line center (though not as good as Pleks).

Bonk was never an offensive dynamo in the NHL. His stats were boosted with stars as wingers. Bonk would've been at most a 40 point guy with the sens if he wasn't surrounded by some of the best offensive talent the league has to offer. He's always going to be a huge letdown and his contract is brutal at $2.4m for a PKer.
