Source?

We would need to add Blind Gardien and possibly one of zurg999 or Teufelsdreck to land CaniacGirl12, but it would be worth it.

We could throw in a second round pick, instead.

What about Qwert or Wildone?

They would surely add some value...and The Canes need to fill in some roster space

That is such an NHL2006 trade... you obviously know nothing about hockey. have you ever even played the sport. You can't make up trades like that.

Pessimist 'TheDamned' Sent To Carolina
(AP)

In a stunning turn of events, Bob Gainey and the Montreal Canadiens have decided to ship all-star pessimist TheDamned to Carolina for a player to be named later. Inside sources indicate that the Habs are looking to aquire CaniacGirl12 but the deal has not been confirmed yet.

Bob Gainey had a press conference earlier today. "This was a move that had to be made. First we were going to finish ninth, then it was Canes' in 4, now it's Canes' in 7. We figure, if he loves the Canes so much, why not just pop him in a fedex truck and slap him down there?"

TheDamned was available for comment from his new shack just outside Raleigh. "Well, I'd like to thank the Canadiens organization for pulling off such an upset deal. They knew they weren't getting past the first round so they just traded off all their assets (me) and started to rebuild for the future. In the meantime, I'm going to call up my buddy Sean Avery and see if the Canes can ink him in the offseason."

Sources indicate that this trade will benefit the Habs in every way. The Canadiens' director in charge of personal affairs (aka. team *****) was let go earlier this year (Angelica Bridges). CaniacGirl12 will take over the new position as the director of personal affairs and she is very excited about doing so. "This is a great opportunity for me. I've always wanted to make money while doing the things that I really enjoy. The only thing that really disappointed me was not seeing Jose upon my arrival here."

With this monster of a deal now behind us, we can begin to look forward to the rest of the series.

You forgot my no trade clause. I'll waive it if CaniacGirl12 and I can stay in the same hotel room on our respective trips north and south.
