It's like everything else with the Flyers, it's about potential. They play like a bunch of big sucks.

And for the record, I do not mean to go out and intentionally injure the Sabres. I just mean play them hard and show them what playoff intensity is supposed to be like - that intensity usually results in bruised and bloodied bodies. At least it did in the playoffs I used to know and love.

The minute a Flyer touches anyone, they'll get thrown out... That's just how the refs are calling it for them.

it's not a disaster, but it has clear problems... losing KJ was obviously a HUGE blow to our backline play. we need true 2nd-line RW... maybe Dimitrakos is that, maybe not. i'm hoping we jump up in the draft and grab a high-end wing prospect... see what Clarke can swing.

another problem is the rookies... they're inconsistent and they haven't shown up in the playoffs. they will be better next year and we should get a good full year out of guys like Carter and Umberger (i'm expecting 35-30 goals from each potentially), which will obviously help considerably.

this is a team in transition, which is fine given how the organization is setup... and i'm pretty convinced if you simply through this team into the fire in September it would be better than the version we have right now.... take that and add some of the pieces you'd like to have and you're better off.

I really hate buffalo... you guys gotta do something about this! Let Hitch lace em up and get out there for the PP! Now that would be entertaining. Ah well at least the commercial with that hot Faerie is on and entertaining.

How on earth are these guys earning their salary? It's like trainingcamp for minors or something. Stickhandling, it's good to have... They can not hit the puck, guess it's hard while skating.

i agree but the heartless play is what really bothers me to put this effort out at home in a game 6 there is no excuse for that the coaching staff and management have failed this team this year

you have Pitkanen... Meyer looks to be a nice little player...

this is not a complete disaster, as stated... just needs to age a bit with all the youth in the lineup and get out from under our "old" NHL cap burden that we haven't completely lost with the contracts like Brashear...

it's going to be OK... it's very unfortunate that the rooks didn't step up.

We have 9.5 million dollars wrapped up in four defenseman next year, with Pitkanen looking at a hefty raise. This is a whole new burden.

I feel for Esche on that last Sabres goal, not much he could do there. Foppa must be having flashbacks to 2002. The Flyers did know that they had a game tonight?
