I'm wondering why Morrow either wasn't invited or declined to go

Maybe he just didn't feel like going this year. I doubt that he wasn't offered a spot after going to a couple before.

Robidas for Canada? Wow, talk about being recognized this year. Good for him. He will represent the Stars well over there.

He was one of our leading hitters this season, was he not?

The finnish team would have needed Kapanen more than anyone else considering the rest of the centers but still Jokinen/Miettinen is better than nothing. Frankly I'm quite surprised that someone bothers to come back here so soon to play in a tournament which is quite meaningless especially considering the olympic tournament was held this year as well. If only someone would tell it to the media here...

Well Kapanen and Morrow are both apparently injured, which may be why they passed.

I got a question remaining in my head .. why not Turco in the World champ for team canada, I mean he used to be the 4th goalie of canada during world cup and olympics game, what happened with him ?

Tonight's game against Czech will tell much more about this line, Miettinen - Jokinen - Peltonen

look at all the roster, there're maybe 300 NHL player available who're better than those on the WC.....but if they don't want to play....

Would you sign Joel lundqvist already?!? He his such a great player, a real fan favourite. He will hit anything that comes into his way. Yesterday he took out both a d-man and the US goalie in the WCH quarter final. See link below:

They might have already signed him,but haven't announced it(waiting for the World Championship to end or maybe he'll decide if he's going to sign then since i'm sure they've offered him a contract.
