I agree. I was a doubter on Huet until the playoffs. He did everything humanly possible to win the series. I am sure this series will open up a lot of eyes. If he is smart, he will wait to see and make sure the Habs are improving in the off season before signing.

more seriously..huet will look for a contract around 3m..Aebi, in the worst scenario, take the qualifing offer 1.6m+10%

so did the habs are a better team with Huet at 3m or Aebi at 1.7 ...and more caps space to add some depth...

Huet for sure. A good goalie is probably the most important thing to a team (as Carolina just showed). Aebi is good, but Huet is better.

If it wasn't for him we would have never made it to the playoffs and we would have never kept it this close!

Hopefully he plays for us next year and plays the same way with a strong Aebisher giving us a great 1-2 combo, although I think Danis is ready.

Who of the 3 will be the 2?

Thanks for being the tender we needed.

Yes! Go Huet!

Here's to hoping he'll have another strong season with the Habs next year!

Huet is the only reason we even got 6 post-season games this year. We were slated for zero until Huet took over the reigns.

I think Huet will accept anything around 2 million...he played half a season in Mtl and nobody wants to have 3-4 million tied up in a bit of a question mark...I love the guy but he needs to play this way the whole year which i think he can do

Huet will re-sign for 1.5 million imo. He doesn't look like a greedy guy, just a hunch.
