I guess we will no longer see Corey Locke over Grabovski on any posters' Habs prospects future lists! Finally...

Corey Locke needs to work on his game in the A for at least another 2 years.

Not even comparable.. Grabovski is a top prospect while Locke a third range one. On pair with a prospect like Lambert.

May be my definition but even if he doesn't make it, I don't think we can say that he was a bust. The guy was the leader in points in the OHL though was chosen in the 5th round. Everybody including the Habs knew that it was going to be tough for him, they just take a chance, even some I'm sure didn't even think he has the kind of success he had so far in the AHL.

Seriously I wasn't and still don't expect to be in the NHL ever. So I won't be dissapointed with him.

I don't really agree...with Locke's skills set, you have to look at him as a decent prospect. His chances of making it are not that big, but he still a good prospect, and in 2004, I was so happy to see him in the team organisation.

I think he will make the NHL one day, but not with us. If he can have 2 good season in the AHL, we might be able to receive something for him.

Anyone have a report concerning Aebi's game against Russia. Letting 6 goals in 31 shots, how was he really....

Is now a 6th rounder too much to ask???

Plekanec and that UFA guy who wants to be a top 6 forward (with zero points so far in the tournament) on TSN vs Canada right now.

Wow. 3-0 Czechs. Looks like the 3rd goal may be Pleks, seem to have went off his body and in...and it's his goal now.

Plekanec looked amazing in the 3-4 shifts I saw at the end of the period.

Swiss lost to the Russians today 6-3, not a great game for Abby, Streit had 1 assist and was a +1.

I'm loving Grabovsky's game right now..but I'll reserve ultimate judgment when he finally comes over to North America...Locke doesn't have Grabovsky's skill set but I won't label him a bust yet.

Once again, many thanks!

Gotta like Grabovsky sticking out the 3 fingers after his hat-trick on Saturday. The kid has personality and style. That was a nice rush by Kosty on that 3rd Grabo goal and apparently the fight was with the number one fighter in the RSL, Kosty needs to better pick his opponents. You still have to like the fact he stood up for himself there after the goon decided to get in his face after the goal.

I also loved Grabovsky's reaction when celebrating with his teammates, he looks towards the direction of the fight and is like ''Holy ****, we better do something about this guys and get over there!''

It's hilarious hearing those Belarussian announcers, that color guy's deep voice especially.

Bulis has looked as he always does.... skating around, chipping at pucks, doing nothing.

I am so happy his spot will be taken by someone else.

Him demanding an offensive role was more then I could take. He was a so-so third liner... and then he wanted to be prime time?

See ya!

In which highlight do you saw that?

And in the Belarus-Russia game, Kost made a pretty nice backhand on the first goal!

how the hell could Corey locke be labelled a potential bust?

A fourth-round draft pick as a 19-year-old who many predicted would never make the NHL at the time. All he managed to do was lead his AHL team in scoring, exactly what many predicted as his top-end capabilitiy; already reaching that predicted potential in his sophomore professional season.
