so were going into overtime, and im sure most habs fans are absolutely falling apart at the moment....

who cares, Habs Rock, we've given it our all, and we've shown that we can match and out-match Carolina, even when they are at their best.

i love my montreal canadiens, they made the playoffs, took on a team we got killed by in the season, and did more than compete with them.

congradulations to montreal for a great season, whether they lose or win in overtime tonight.

nah...
I was at the bell center in 2002 when Carolina eliminated us with a 8-2 win....I think this one is easier to swallow for me.

1st round loss, easy to swallow? You have pretty low standards...

After all , it was a season that i like to followed exepted the dark part where Theo was unable to stop the puck...

We saw great plays , new faces that are really promising , and surprises like the HUET one .

Can't imagine how Rivet must feel! Hopefully he gets over it. I'm still upset about scoring on my own goalie in intramural floor hockey in '86! This just brought all those horrible memories flooding back!

Can't wait for a) the draft and b) July 1st.

Thanks for a great season and heart attack filled playoffs Habs!

I was at the game, in the last row in the building. That was a hard loss to take, but what an exciting game. People were still chanting Huet's name even after the game ended, and cries of 'Riot in the streets' and 'Emeute dans la rue' were few and far between, which is good. Thanks to the team and this forum for an exciting season.

we did better than most people gave us credit for. I am a proud fan, and all we can hope for now is a great off season, and most importantly, the healing of our captain. We will be a better team next season. BG will do wonders.

THIS is where I have a problem. If only we had given it all...

It's easier to swallow when your team shows up. Even if they lose. Talk to the Flyer's fans.
