I'm glad that they are. Even though it is international play, they still mean something, and strong performances would enhance chances to play for future Olympic teams. Why not get more experience playing high-intensity games

No.

I think they both fell under the spell of what shall now be called "the crapulance of the 2005-2006 Philadelphia Flyers".

Yes. Canadians care much more about the Worlds than the NHL playoffs

i think it'll be good for those guys to get some more high intensity game time...plus any playing time they get will help them develop further, they are going to need to be HUGE for the club next year

It's good that they're playing. This is valuable experience and an honor for them to represent on the International stage yet again.

The WJC reunion contines....Carter, Crosby, Richards, Beregron..Im glad they are going, keeps their skills fresh before next season. I guess Canada is now the overwhelming fav for the worlds. I wish the USA cared this much as Canada follows these tournaments religiously.

That would be one decent team...with Crosby, Bergeron, Richards, Carter and Phaneuf???

I think they might actually have a chance at medalling.

Most people in Philadelphia couldn't tell you where Latvia is. No one here would watch.

That was a pretty sweet goal. Carter shot it, and it lay just in front of the goal line, then Richards skated in and tapped it over.

They played really well on the same line and I hope they keep it together!
