''Downey dans les patates''

Marc Labrecque from RDS just said on tv that Downey ''va se retrouver dans les patates'' during the offseason

They ridiculised him on SportsNet too. Personaly I like him and hope he stays. It was great to see him tell it like it is with all the journalists surrounding him. He talked about this group of Habs having good team spirit(the best he`s seen) and so forth. He was pretty funny in a honest Boom Boom kind-of way. Great guy.

I hope he's back next season. I love his character and he looks like a real team guy.

I just saw an interview with him....He so wants to be back...I feel for him. But I dont think there will be place for him if we get a real enforcer.

I have a great caracter and I am a real team guy. Sadly, I'm not good enough to play for the Habs either.

I'll miss his ridiculous fights, though.

I am soory we're not getting a chance to meet you guys in the next round.
That last game was exciting and heart breaking.

Have you considered the possibility though that your faith was betrayed by the potato?

Just asking.

I find it funny that he was the only guy at the Bell Centre yesterday. Did he make a strategic move in order to have all the journalists to himself in order to give the message that he really wants to stay???

If so, just for that, he deserves to stay as a 13th man... I see him a lot alternate with Ferland or Murray, cause even though we liked Murray a lot and think Ferland could make it, we have no idea of the effect a whole 82 season will have on them and Downey could be a good backup.

But if he's that loved in the dressing room, and he's a great team guy, not being a cancer when he's not playing, how can you not want him back.

Go Aaron! (or Craig Downey like we saw on RDS last night....)

The potato made it possible to go as far as we did with the guys that we had.

Faith to the Potato!!!
