One thing is sure -- if the 'Canes don't play better than against the Habs they're going to get mushed.

They played a 7th seed missing their captain and top center, and they won 4 games by one goal, and their goalie had to steal at least two games for them. The Devils are healthy, rested, hot and more experienced than the Habs.

I think looking at the goal highlights for the teams' previous series will illustrate.

Devils will lose first game then win next 4. Jersey will be rusty in the first game. Lousy refs, did you see that cheap call for tripping Williams. The Jersey defender barely touched his skate and he falls but they can't see Williams almost taking Saku's eye out.

I hate the Devils...I expect them to win in 5 (before the game anyway), but I'd love to see the Canes win.

I'd have thought their freaky luck would have run out by now. Seems not.

Surprise, surprise. Justin Williams 'accidentally' fell on Brodeur.

Well compared to this game, Ward was tested so hard against us.....But Jersey will come back...obviously not in this game but in this series.

How exactly did the refs decide to dish out off-setting minors after LaRose blatantly drove into Brodeur? A goalie's seriously going to get hurt and the league doesn't give a rat's ***.

Brodeur gets run over and no penalty

They better run Ward the same way this game is over

Notice the Carolina punks didn't try that on Huet when Komosarek was around

you can say whatever you want but the Canadiens never got beat up by the Hurricanes like the Devils are getting beat up now. Our friends on 110 that want to trade Markov and Souray and Koivu and Kovalev and whoever, perhaps they should look at the game today and think maybe hey Canadiens are not as bad as we think.

I was'nt surprised that they got along with it agains Montreal as we are very soft and they never had a good lead, but I can't beleive the Devils are'nt doing anything.

2 fluke goals by carolina really set the tone for this game, NJ had alot of time off probably too much considering all the games against the Rangers they played were pretty much pickup games.
