Missing in action. He really needs to step it up. One year good, one year abysmal seems to be his career pattern and now the Flames are stuck with a five year committment to the Jughead.

He just seems to lack the nastiness required of the job description. I would trade him while the gettin's good.

sure, lets trade him when he's playing bad so we can get the ********* deal possible.

Regehr will come around, I wouldn't be too worried just yet, BR.

for what?

So we can have Steve Montador in the lineup and move Andrew Ferrence up to our 5th spot? Yeah, that'll be a step forward.

Last time I looked the Flames were one of the best teams in the leage in terms of GAA....I don't think that's the time to trade a 23 year old with the physical tools that Regehr has. He's had a big part in that.

Is the bicycle repairman for real? Has HF made a minimum troll limit so that hornets nests will get kicked on a daily basis?

He's still only 23 and it's only going to get better with this guy. He's going to be a #2 guy easily. Although I do agree that he should play with more of a mean streak, guys should be scared to play against him.

In the games I've seen I thought he has played pretty well.

He's one of those guys who if you don't notice him it's a good thing. He is one of the chief reasons why the flames' goals against is so good.

Yeah, woe is us. What were we thinking?

BR has a serious hate-on for anything that other Flame fans like. While I wouldn't consider him a troll, his run-and-hide technique like he's displaying here is all too common place for a poster such as himself.

Take his posts with a grain of salt; 'cause that's just about what the quality of his posts amount to.

You don't trade 23 year olds who play as well as he does now and have the upside he does. Not if you want to be a winning organization anyways. He's very key to our future.

Yeah...23, Regher is a definite bust. If you don't mind, give him a bus ticket north. Please and thank you.

Yes. Let's trade arguably our best d-man, whom we just signed to a new 5 year contract over the summer. Good idea.

My take on Robyn Regehr is you plop a tunic on him, hand him a recorder, side him up next to a chicken puppet, and call him the Friendly Giant. He's just never going to be the inbred nasty defenceman he was projected to be. Just isn't in his nature.

Trade him before the word gets out. While his salary is reasonable as of now, it does rise considerably in the ensuing years (which may in fact be under a salary cap).

Don't get me wrong, he's a "Solid Citizen" type NHL defenseman sure enough. But at this point he could bring a handsome return.

Jesus, someone's been reading my posts on CP. I used the exact same analogy about a week ago. Plagerism does run in the family!!!

No, p-l-a-g-i-a-r-i-s-m, by definition is a cut and paste job, copied ad verbatim, of which I am not guilty. I merely picked up on an existing Canadian cultural meme.

By the way, that graphic you posted contains a naughty word that violates board guidelines. Not that I'm pointing fingers.

That can't be. I believe the word "plagiarism" was around before the time of computers - so what was its definition of plagiarism before computers?

Making up **** does run in the family

Huh? I see nothing in his post that refers to his computers. Or have you not heard of scissors and glue?

I think he's talking about using plagarism in the "context" of computer use.
