Carter can't be too cheap:
GP G A P
81 33 22 55

That put him right behind Knuble in terms of points on the Flyers. He's definitely due a pay raise from what the nucks paid him this past season.

Hinote doesn't really seem like the top-six right winger the Flyers were missing this season either.

Yea definitly not, id like to get Afinagenov for that. But Hinote is a great guy to have, i think he stays in Colorado.

I doubt Vancouver lets Carter go, he played great with the Sedins. Besides, Carter nees to play in the top 6 to be effective IMO, and we need a playmaker for Jeff Carter, not a scorer. Although, Carter did show great passing skills on occasion, maybe his game will develop into the ability to create scoring chances rather then being more of a shooter.

I think the only way Carter fits here in Philly, is if Handzus is played at center. For that to happen, Primeau has to leave. More likely, IMO is that Handzus moves to wing and plays with Richards.

No thank you. He is a fast and flashy skater, but he is also: A puck hog that makes turnovers trying to skate through traffic, a floater in his own zone, a diver, not very physical, and still doesnt have world class finishing to go with his world class skating (or else he would be Pavel freaking Bure).

Puck hog with 55 assists?

Say what you want about him, but with the NHL the way it is now, you need skill like this.
