Theo last night was at his best, yet he still got beaten easily top shelf by Lupul and he ended up losing on a real softie. All of his good saves without exception we're low shots. Nice to see him down 3-0 in the series. He is now on a 11 game losing streak in the 2nd round. What a money goaltender.

I must say that I am very pleased ...

I hate MeMOI. At 5.5 million, 3 of those goals should have never gone in. I hope his teammates hang him out to dry in game 4 and we see a 6 spot from the Ducks.

when the west conference gets one full year on him you watch how they all figure him out

shoot high and your goona score

breezzy on the other hand wow .. just wow.... if he starts getting boo'ed in colorado then what?
I know what you mean but at one point, I don't care if he makes 10 millions of 450 000$. It's the total for the team that counts, if because him and his salary they can't upgrade their team well sure they got screwed, mainly if he begins slumping again. But if he's as good and they are able to get some d-men and some better players at 2 millions instead of their usual 5 and 6 millions like Blake and all, well they could end up being a contender again. They just need to replace Breezer, Skrastins and Sauer, have a couple more snipers up front, don't forget Svatos will be back, Wolski will be 1 year older. I mean they just need to add some grit that can actually play hockey and they'll be good.

I believe a save is a save and Huet, even though he made only 450 000$ should've made the Brind'Amour save as well as the Stillman. But there goes another problem, did the fans acclaimed him at the end because he did have a great run while making only 450 000$. What will happened if he gives those kinds of goal at 2.5. Will it then become more problematic???

In the end, I can await the time when we'll stop talking about him, probably if we can get a great return for Aebi it will help swallow the pill but in the meantime he's playing, we're not, good for him. We got screwed by him but the good news is he's not playing for us anymore, let the AVS deal with that.

Let's take care of Habs business now.....

just remember this when your comparing huet to theo ....

lets give huet the same amount of games played as theo them lets talk .

can forget huet is still really a "roookie" in the sence he has only played in 89 nhl games .

theo has played 358 games

ill give huet the benifit of the doubt that with some more playing time in net and some more time with roland meleason he will only get better...

Was not comparing them veterans vs rookie but mainly money for money. I would take Brodeur on my team anytime, but the way he's handling things in this second round so far, he doesn't deserve the money he got. Should he be booed on his way out....you know the answer.

As far as Theo is concerned, the way I hear this is that there's no way he'll ever win. If he plays good, well he's not great, yesterday was stunning for me but again some say he's responsable for the loss. Come on, we might beat this AVS team without even trying....

I sure want us to not look bad again and getting rid of that fat contract is a tremendous way of not looking bad, but at the same I'd wished we had received more but it's not over we might be able to land something for Aebi.....

Theo might of played good but its those weak goals he lets in here in there. That overtime goal theo should of had and it would of saved brisebois *** and that 2nd goal top self is another that he should of had. I dont care what any one thinks theo is a choker, no matter how good he plays theres allways a goal that he lets in that should of never hapend. Thats why im glad montreal got rid of him.

Who scored that overtime goal for anaheim?? I think it was lupul or something.

goal Lupul with assist from Brisebois and theodore

Good Job!
Ya but the Question is..would you rather have Theo at 5.5 million or Huet at 2 million and get another big forward with the savings....

The answer to your question is obviously that I rather have Huet and a great player instead of Theo. But even if he had problems with us, he was still a good goalie but mostly Lacroix wanted him for at least 2 or 3 years so we should've got way more than we did. So in order for me to be happy I need 3 things out of this trade :

1- The fact that we save the money for a good goalie and not great like he was suppose to be - DONE

2- Get a good player with the money we saved - WAITING

3- Get a better deal than Aebisher, meaning give me picks and prospects for him and I'll be more than satisfied - WAITING.

1 out of 3 for me.....But I expect Gainey to deliver....

Theodore has been great.

But last night reminded me why I was happy as hell to get rid of Breezy.

yup...theo has been great

he played a good game last night, but thats it... but the winning goal cancelled out his good performance.. a Pee Wee goalie would have stopped that

I disagree with this. Getting Aebischer for Théodore (and his contract) at the trade deadline was more than expected for me, and I am curious what kind of trade you would have accepted for Théodore...

The puck deflected on a stick, the worst thing for a goaltender... The team playing in front of Théo is clearly quite outplayed by the Ducks since the begin of the serie.. So easy to blame goaltenders...

I remember when Breezy used to make those beauties against Boston in the playoffs.

I remember one time when Breezy was alone on the ice, behind his goal, and he managed to give it right on the tape of the Bs players that was at the blueline...

I almost cried that night

I'm so glad he's not with the Habs anymore

again tonight...on the 2nd goal

Some raindom quotes from the Avs game
"BRISEBOIS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loses the race to the icing, and they score. WHY IS HE PLAYING??????????? "

"mmmmm, weak goal on Theo too, but briesbois is so ******. "

"We get burnt everytime Brezzeby is on the ice. Sakic had to cover for him on the Ducks goal because he was totally out of position.....again.

PL.... you have to see this guy brings a glaring weakness onto the teams defense. "

"Starting on defense for the 2007 Albany River Rats....Patrice Brisebois! "

"man no wonder Montreal booted his *** out of town!! "

I'd rather live with Sourray's mistakes.....

Brisebois is simply playing amazingly terrible. It's almost unbelievable how bad he has been tonight and a couple nights ago. It's uncomprehensible how abysmal he is. Just terrible, F

Untrue, another Brisebois turnover and Ducks take a 3-1 lead.
