Even "IF" we beat the Devils, could we have handled Carolina?

no way Jose, we wouldn't have beaten any team the way the season ended. If a division rivalry couldn't light a fire our collective @$$'s then nothing would have.

Healthy or not, I really don't recall seeing a team come out as poorly during the post season. The Rangers didn't match their opponent in any category and especially not in intensity (against a main rival no less). There was absolutely no passion in their play. And then there was the inablity of the coaching staff to get their players playing at the level they needed to be, plus the poor coaching decisions made prior to and during the game. All in all it was a pretty pittiful performance by all involved. It didn't matter who the opponent would have been.

I am hocky pool junky

and when I did my report for the rangers

it became obviously that to stop the ranger--stop Jagr.
NYR are a one line team and they need to change it.

As I said before, no need to explain yourself to me. Your intentions with the original post are irrelevant. As far as I'm concerned, this was cleared up 2 posts ago. Let's stick to the thread topic, which you have yet to answer.

Well, it was common knowledge that we were a one line team. But I thought we might have enough secondary scoring to get us through the rough patches. But those guys just came up empty.

The Devils are a one-trick pony that played better than another one-trick pony.

Now that the Devils are facing better competition, they're getting clocked.

Boy do I love being right.

What is the Devils'

one trick? Save the first game, it's been a pretty close series.
