Bourque easily. You could argue that Robinson or Potvin were better in their prime (though it`s not certain), but with the exception of Gordie Howe no other player was as good for as long as Ray Bourque. He was a 1st Team All-Star as a 19 year-old rookie, and as a 40 year-old veteran in his last season he was still one; not to mention most of the years in between.

There were no real weaknesses in his game; he could do a tape-to-tape pass perfectly from 80 feet away, but if teams tried to defend that too closely he was just as adept at bringing the puck out of the zone himself. Excellent skater, very strong, solid defensively and seemingly impossible to tire out. Whether the Bruins were protecting a lead or trying to tie a game, Bourque was always the key player on the ice in the last minute of the game.

Add Tim Horton.

Struggled with this one before picking Bourque over Potvin. Again, I say add Pilote.

Voted for Denis Potvin.

I agree that Pilote should be added for next round.
