No. Curtis Joseph is not really that big of an upgrade over what the Flyers already have and certainly not worth the eight million dollars he's making per year.

If he were to be acquired, the Flyers wouldn't give back youth like Richards or Woywitka anyway.

No, no, no.

a, you do know that he was waived earlier in the offseason don't you? anyone could've had him for nothing more than his salary, which is the first major problem.

BTW, for better or worse, the Flyers got a goaltender in the offseason, his name is Jeff Hackett and they gave him a 3 year deal.

more like this

to an NHL team:
Cujo, 3rd round pick, half or part of Cujo's annual salary & a HUGE "thank you very much"

to Detroit:
budget relief

Yeah right not even if Detroit paid the entire remainder of CuJo's contract.

The funny part is that Hendrik Zetterberg (obviously posting in between games and practices) actually thinks its funny because the Philadelphia offer is too light.

The wings would be lucky to get a well progressed 1st round pick (Woywitka) or a 1st round pick from the last draft (Mike Richards) for just Cujo especially without salary paid.

Face it, we don't want Cujo, besides Hackett and Esche haven't been bad. 3 shutouts this season so far and we need another goalie? I think not.

Cujo for LeClair seems like the only sort of deal that would ever take place. No justin Williams, no Woywitka, no draft picks, and no cash. We don't need cujo nearly as much as you need to get rid of him.

Actually, Cujo might be your savior this year, since Hasek hasn't exactly been dominant so far.

Are very bad for you. The wings will be lucky to get a bag of pucks for Cujo.

Hasek usually starts out slow anyways, I'd rather have Hasek in net than Cujo anyways.

Why Cujo? What has he ever won? Why does he deserve the money he makes? Let the Wings pay his overpriced @ss! We don't need him.

Enough with the Cujo trade talks!

So the Flyers give up a 22 yearold who has been our best all-around forward and has 8 points already on a team that has had trouble scoring for a old overrated goalie whos style does not fit the Flyers and leaves the Flyers with three goals and two making over 3 million a year? I'll pass
