Mark Bell and Cam Barker with a high1st round pick for a scrub, a moody player, a guy who can't play defense and a low 1st round pick?

even ea wouldn't do this.

Try;

To Montreal: Mark Bell - Adrian Aucoin - 1st round
To Chicago: Mike Ribeiro - Perezoghin - Souray - 1st round - 2nd round

(Chicago rids themselves of a huge contract, underperformer. They also get our best prospect).

Closer .. but Chicago's early 1st is worth more than Perezhogin, and Bell, Aucoin > Ribeiro, Souray, mid 1st.

I don't think so at all my friend. Aucoins contract is huge and disgusting. A mid 1st + Ribs > Bell, Souray at 2m$ > Aucoin at 6trillion$.

Souray's value is underrated on this forum imo. He would fetch a bit more than people are waiting for imo. Sure he got problems 1 on 1 but he's effective on the pk, he got a monster of a shot which makes him very useful on the PP also. Last 2 seasons: 35 and 39 points (this year). And not a bad contract at all.

He'd be the perfect 3rd guy on a good defense.

dude, even with AI off EA will deny this.

maybe if...

Bell-Barker-2nd for higgy, ribs, komi and 1st

could be over pay but they would probalby ask for more. then again i might be overrating Bell, haven't seen him play much at all.

What does everyone want Bell for, he can't even skate and has attitude problems.

Ribs have almost no value and Bell worth much more than an middle 1st round.

No offers in this thread were even close to interest Chicago.

Yep, I don't understand the hype. That reminds me a lot of Brad Isbsister a few years ago though.

Except that Mark Bell misses very few games.

I disagree. Someone who can put up 60 pts in a season for 1m$ definitely has some value. And you're overrating Bell I believe, cuz he wouldn't be in the top 10 in this years draft (imo).

Hmm, now >> 3 to 5 years down the road. That doesn't work like this.

Otherwise, I agree with you.

That's what Ribs is for though. They lost Arnason. Ribs imo is a good center for Bochenski (better version of Dagenais).

OK, I misunderstood.

Still not fond of these Mark Bell proposals though...

Gneh, I think Bell would be better for us than Ribs. I don't like giving up Perez though, so I wouldn't actually want the deal to happen.

Of course I wouldn't mind a Mark Bell at Ribeiro's expense.
Just that he's not THE player I'd target and put crazy offers on the table to get.
