Also of note, Martin broke up the Redden-Rachunek pairing.
Redden was having some problems with his knee. He left the game for a bit in the first and is obviously not 100%. I was surprised because he's played over 28 minutes in a few games. Overall, the D is not playing well. Pothier is making the normal rookie mistakes. Leschesyn is a step behind. Phillips is pretty good. Chara's just starting to pick it up. With Redden's knee aggravated (remember he missed a few pre-season games because of it too), I think Martin had to juggle.
An 'of note' on my part would be that when Redden doesn't play well, neither do the Sens as a whole. Every time he has problems, or every time he's not playing well, the Sens have issues. Now wonder why they didn't bat an eyelash when they signed him to that contract.
I hope Martin tries Vermette-Spezza-Havlat. OD wrote above that Havlat seemed to pick it up a bit when he played with Spezza; I thought he picked it up when he played with Vermette. Tomorrow will be interesting.
