Brewer for Zednik + Bonk Zednik + Ribeiro + 4th round, or something. Gotta make it interesting.

How much does Brewer make? I would do either trade if he's not overpaid.

I'd take a bag of pucks and a used jackstrap for zednik if it can create space in our lineup.

So, errr, I'll take Brewer!

I want to try out Ryder 1 more year before giving up on him. And make sure he doesn't have a disclocated anything before greenlighting him for his return....

No excuses.

Exactly what I think...add to this that our young players will gain more experience and we will see if they can replace Ryder's production on the team...

I really have a hard time thinking they would trade brewer for zednik (st. louis) and probably ryder deserves one more season to see what he can do for the team so i dont see this happening really, I doubt our blueline changes too much between now and next year.

Give Ryder another shot? I mean sure he's not flashy, not too great defensively, but he buried 25, and 30 in his first two seasons respectively. Even if 30 is his max output, hell even if 25 is his max output from now on, how many other guys do we have that can do that? Higgins, Kovalev? Who else? I can't wait to see what happens when Perezhogin or Kostitsyn are able to net 30 in a season, they'll be run right out of town.

We keep Ryder, Zed and Ribs (if we don't get any good return for him), until the new wave settles in. The first two have their place in the team I believe.

Eric Brewer has been regressing since making the Olympic team in 2002. Buyer beware.

Yes I agree with that. We'll give you Zednik and a third or fourth Rounder for Brewer!

We'll keep Ryder!!
