Forbes still not back on the bench according to Walton. I may have to switch over to the P's broadcast for the third...

Just looked at the stats thus far .... goodness, Bears being outshoot 6-2 thus far in the second ....... is that due to being on the PK or have the Pirates really dominted the Bears as much as the stats seem to indicate?

That's surprising .... I understand the Bears defensive corps being all out of sorts; but not the forwards.

Stats say 4 to 7 in favor of the Pirates .... though I notice the Bears seem to take their penalties in bunches ....... kinda hard to roll four lines and get the forwards fresh when you have to kill three penalties in ten minutes ...... boys need to stay out of the box.

Playoff superstition poll: Should I switch to the Pirates broadcast? I listened last night, and refused to change once the pennlive feed went up, fearing bad karma.

I wasn't sure if you meant the normal tired from back-to-back or the other kind of tired ...... sounds like the Bears picked up some energy near the end of the second (I can't get the videofeed to work) ..... They need to stay out of the box and build upon that late period surge.

If it will keep the Bears out of the box, go for it.

I don't get it ...... did they throw beer on him yesterday (I was unable to listen/watch the game - though I understand it got a bit "testy" near the end).

Would the Bears be better served by having somebody other than Klepis in the line up? he got an assist last night but seems to be mildly invisible.
