Currently Colorado's leading scorer, including 5 points in his last two games. After looking somewhat disinterested his first few games, Arnie has really upped the tempo, finding some nice chemistry with Brad Richardson.

Maybe he finally got the kick up the arse he so badly needed

Sadly for Hawks fans, he is making his $950K contract look cheap now. Having Sakic as an influence at his new team can't hurt as well....

The problem is he is very streaky. He was one of Chicago's leading scorers. Alright that's not very hard but he still went somthinglike 29 games without a goal. He is good when he's playing well and absolutely terrible when playing badly. He's not exactly the kind of guy you want around as a role model for all of Chicago's young players either.

When you have Joe Sakic, you don't need Arnason to be a role model.
You need him to produce on the scoresheet.

I meant it wouldn't be a good idea for the Hawks to keep him. If anyone can whip Arnason into shape then it's Sakic.

Until he plays at his current level consistently, he's nothing but a lazy ******* in my eyes.

I'll eat my leather, smelly slippers if Arnason keeps this up through the season and through the playoffs. The guy is soft, uninterested but talented. Worthless when the going gets tough.

Regardless of his start, if he is one of your top 2 centers you are going nowhere.
any team with Arnason as anything resembling a key player is a team destined to lose.

From a senators fan that barely got to see him last year?

i dunno, i am still pessimistic but as an avs fan i will enjoy the ride while it lasts. There is less pressure here than in CHI and OTT and I can only imagine that as the reason for his improved performance thus far

Arnason is a frusterating player. He definetely has the talent to be a 2nd line center, but the question is if he has the desire.

The guy has always had pretty decent starts to the season but his play will dramatically decline as the season progresses. I've seen it too many times as others have said no heart and I would even question his talent. A lot of people consider him to have skills like a heatley or a kovalchuk but I can't make that resemblance.
