Bednar has been given plenty of chances, granted he hasn't had great linemates, but he's had 2nd line duties here and there. He hasn't produced as expected, though he netted plenty of assists last season. He's def a set-up man with talent. Maybe it's because a finesse player like him needs some grittier scorers alongside him, which the Panthers lack. But the Panthers aren't the only team without a Bertuzzi-type player...
I also blame Keenan. Poor management of his talent - that applies to almost all the team, not just Bednar. Keenan's supposed to be a motivator? This team plays not very motivated on most nights! If management doesn't realize that these players aren't responding to the Keenan methods, well management had better get new players or get a coach before this thing gets uglier than it already is...
