Kaspar sighting

I met Kasparitis early Thursday morning at the Guns N Roses show in NY. His arm was in a sling. I talked to him for a quick second, said everythings fine and it's healing as expected.

He fired Buckethead and the new guy is Bumblefoot, I think he likes all the new guitarists to have retarted names. However I hope they can return to form, pretty cool meeting Kaspar, he seems like a cool guy.

Kasper's a funny guy good to hear he's doing well

Not to Highjack but what are some of your favorite Kasper moments

I liked his reply about his groin injury in the playoffs

Al Trautwig " When does it hurt you the most"?
Kasper straight faced " When I go out dancing in the club"
Or about his injury also to Al I believe

Al- "I feel funny asking a player how his groin is doing"
Kasper "It's alright to talk about it just don't touch it"

Al- Did your groin affect the way you played last night?
Kaspar- Why did I play bad?

Good to hear he's healing, and has good taste in music. November rain.

Buckethead is a kick-*** guitarist, too, but I could never understand why he was on GNR. His style of playing doesn't really lend itself to Axl Rose-type songs, I think he's better off making his own records.

I don't know anything about Bumblefoot, what's he like?

That's awesome! I didn't know Kaspar was a GNR fan. Rock.

Great guitar player, played with a guy called Qball
after my band played(Spacebeard) last year in Brooklyn.

Great guy, has a huge following in European Cities as well.

Im surprised he is still in town. I'd figure most of the players from other countries would go back after the season to visit...

From what I've seen in the past--he's been around working out with the young prospects over the last several summers--it appears that Kaspar spends his summers in New York.

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, Kaspy went from 6 to an 8 on my list after hearing about him at a GNR show.

Good to hear that he's feeling better, and yes, he is one hell of a guy to hang out with from what I've heard. My aunt works at the garden, and she's talked to Kaspy many times. Says he's quite the comedian, and just an all-around great guy.

Yea, that's why alot of fans were calling for him to get the C early in the year. He's a real team guy.

Kaspy is awesome, i wish we had him here in Vancouver, he would be a welcomed addition. He is a team player and is a captain type of guy, a lot of people hate him for the stuff he's done but whatever.

As for him and the GNR thing....sweet.

Sound like the Guns shows at the Hammerstein were great. Izzy Stradlin made an appearance on stage the other night.

That's what you gotta love: not only does he stay in the town which gives him his millions, but he also works year round like the rest of us magoos. Cheers to that.

I thought Kaspar lived somewhere else in the offseason. I'm pretty sure he was with his wife too.

But the shows were great, I had so much fun opening night I had to go to the last show. Seems like I picked the perfect nights.

I believe Kaspar became a US citizen a couple of years ago, so he probably lives here year-round.
