With the Capitals playoff reputation as chokers, this is not a good thing to see happening to the young guys. Nip it in the bud, now. Win this series and move on.
LOL...Portland is a team that won't give up but I don't see them taking three straight from Cassivi and the Bears unless the wheels totally come off the cart.

Even IF the P's win tomorrow game 7 is in Hershey...that alone gives the Bears the final edge. (Although Portland does have a hell of a road record ).

What was negative about that? Its true. I've said since the Senators hired Bryan Murray that they were asking for trouble, because of his record of playoff disappointments. Its not negative. Its true.

I don't mind the kids losing in the playoffs. Only one team can win. But because of the Capitals well known playoff history has chokers or at least as a team that finds creative ways of losing as the favorite as a rule so far without exception, starting these guys out with an experience like blowing a three games to none lead and a 2-0 3rd period lead in an elimination game is not something to trivialize.

Period.

I am out to the mountains til Saturday. Here's hoping that this is just worry that passes with a game 6 win.

But they never had a 3-0 series lead against the Pirates; 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1 and now 3-2

and the Pirates are the higher seed and have home ice advantage for the series

anyway, it will be a huge disappointment if they cannot beat the Pirates having 3 chances to close out the series; hopefully, they only need the second one tonight; I will wait to label them chokers, etc., until after that happens; they have to get the PP working tonight and hopefully, they skate a full 60 minutes

B E A R S Bears Bears Bears
