Ok thanks. Carrying the American bias into this you would automaticaly think that the Northernmost area of a country would be the most devoted to hockey. But I guess it's the opposite in Germany with the Alps being in the south.
Yep, there's very little hockey between Hamburg and Esbjerg in Denmark. Kiel has never had pro hockey and Timmendorf is, as stated above, in the fourth league. However, if you happen to be moving to Kiel for any reason, there is a good inline hockey program there with nice folks running, many of whom have been in North America for one reason or another. Otherwise, taking the 70 minute ride to Hamburg to watch the Freezers is the best option.
