I don't think he actually touched that Kovalev shot. If you watch it in slow motion from the proper angle you can see he whiffed on it.

IMO, Noonan was the one who touched the puck before it went in but it just doesn't matter.

As far as last night, great night for Messier. I was one of the idiots who threw a hat on the ice. It was the most excitement I've seen at the Garden since their last playoff run in 97.
