That may be but I guess I just havent been seeing the same chemistry that lots of other Rangers fans have seen here. I just havent seen it over 8 games. 3 maybe at best. Improvement yes but chemistry and flow no. What I've seen is a Rangers team that took advantage of a few teams who used to take us for granted and we were improved enough to make them pay on those nights. I still think we're a poorly coached team although not nearly as bad as with the nightmare Trottier experiment or the Low era. I also think we got a shot of adrenalin when Lindros went down. Maybe I'm dead wrong but I'm afraid it's going to get worse before it gets better after seeing their makeup tonight. The only bright spot I'm seeing right now is Dominic Moore. If this team doesnt look at themselves in the mirror tonight Saturday could be another embarrassing day for Rangers fans not that we're not used to it or anything.

It's great to put together a string of decent games in a row, but this group still is not playing hard every single shift over the course of a game. The only way to be successful over the course of a full season is to play hard all the time. And so far, the Rangers haven't been doing that. There have been games where they don't start out playing with passion and grit (Montreal is an example) and games (Colorado) when they stopped working in the middle of the game and instead of finishing the team off, they allowed them to get back into the game.

Everyone has to play a complete game to be successful. So far, there have been moments when it looks like they get the message. But, there have also been moments when they have stepped back and admired what they have done up to now. Which is nothing special to this point. Keep working and do it consistantly and good things will happen.

So true. All I've seen so far is spurts although thats better than nothing I suppose. Still I'm afraid they dont have a coach who pulls their strings on a permanent basis. Goofing off tonight for much of the game is a bad sign. We cant afford to take nights off. Teams like us or the Capitals lose if they dont work. It's only the ones like Colorado or the Detroit of old that can get away with goofing off for a stretch of a game. Not us. I hate to think what'll happen Saturday if we dont go all out. It could be ugly.
