Tommy had his best game of the year. And although the people who voted on the PPV picked Cross - it was a no competition for Tommy as the first star. He was easily the best player on the ice. Let's hope that he gets on a hot streak on this road series, as we'll need him to be hot against the Sens!
i agree whole heartedly. He weathered the storm - which at times was quite fierce and backstopped the team to an important win. IMO his effort at Skyreach versus the AVs, the 6-3 win was his best performance but this was as strong and solid as could have been expected. 2 seeing eye deflected screen slap shots was all that beat him and when the game appeared to be slipping ie. 2 man advantage with the second penalty being a double-minor he really stepped up. I still believe he has to be the guy and his performances of late have been improving other than what I would consider tough bounces and difficult goals against. He is good and will get back to the form of old.
