So does Radulov make the Predators out of training camp?

It's pretty obvious he's raised his game to another level... winning the CHL player of the year. Does the Preds organization send him to Milwaukee or throw him to the wolves?

I think with the Predators style of grooming their prospects, Alexander Radulov will start the season in Milwaukee (unless there's some relatively big trade that opens a spot in Nashville for him). That said, if he plays the way I expect him to, he'll be one of the first call-ups, and may end up like Shea Weber by the end of the season - pushing others out of the way to deserve a spot with the Predators.

Anyhoo...

Agreed. Some people with powerful eyes will be watching this next series from Noel to Trotz to Poile to Fenton and on and on. How he handles this difficult environment where one defensive or judgement lapse could cost a team the game or series will be telling. A lot of opinions will be formed.

Agree that his Ads debut is a mini-debut for many. I personally think he gets some seasoning an Ad next year. It is just a question of how much. Nobody wants to ruin this guy so a minor league taste of life is in order. Make him earn his way onto the team.
All that having been said, I am prepared to be surprised as well...

I say he's there for opening night - and doesn't play a minor league game.

I agree with this.....the organization wants him to start at Milwaukee on for many different reasons.....it will take an amazing training camp for him to start with Nashville, IMO.
There is almost no downside for him starting in Milwaukee from my vantage point.

I think he will make it - But i was sold on Shishkanov so take it for what it's worth . Radulov is much better and has more will so i might be right this time .

I think initially he'll get shot in Nashville on a 2nd/3rd line, and depending on his play he'll either get sent down, stay in the same position, or move up in the depth charts.

Isn't he joining the Admirals in the playoffs now since the Memorial Cup is over?

That's correct.

As for the original subject, I sure hope so. But I believe he'll start at Milwaukee and work his way up.

I cant wait to see the kid in action so I hope he gets to Nashville early, but I sure would hate for him to not get the training that he needs.

I might have to buy some Ads playoff games over the internet!

I think he'll make the club and dazzle in the preseason, but burn out early and get sent down. He'll be a contender for the Calder in 07-08.

I am thinking about hosting some parties for the finals myself, Cant wait until they get cranked up. I would love to see Radulov playing for them just not sure the Preds will pull the trigger on that.
