Kostitsyn has a good size for a forward standing 6’1 and 210 lbs and tremendous speed with very good acceleration.
I dunno...but from what I've seen in Hamilton and with Montreal, Andrei doesn't have '' very good acceleration ''. Last year, I thought he'd be much faster. I guess he's like Kovalev...he skates faster...when he wants to.
Having seen him a few times, Andrei does not appear to be 6'1", more like the 6' that used to be associated with his height. Although he appears rather stocky, so 190 - 200 lbs may be possible.

I don't really care about his height and weight, I just know that he wins his 1 on 1 battles most of time and is really strong on his skates, and for me, that's all it matters.

Great article! Could we see them both in Montreals lineup next season?
I believe they both will be in Montreal this season.
at least Kost. I think gainey is going to put grabovski with Kovalev on the second. and Kost on the 4th line. Kost has size, and can learn a lot by playing at least the beginning of the season on the 4th line. Maybe jump up filling in for an injury.
