anybody know tha status of Dan Blackburn, have'nt heard much about him lately!!!!

There has been no progress in the shoulder injury. The nerve damage has to heal at it's own pace and so far it hasn't healed. JD said he hasn't really improved at all.

Blackburn said recently that he probably wouldn't be ready to play until Feb at the earliest.

When you damage the nerve that tells your arm to go up, it's a problem. You can't keep the muscles in the area in shape because they don't know what to do without the nerve to tell them. The nerve has to regenerate before you can even begin to think about re-strengthen the muscles in the area. And there's very little you can do to speed up the healing of the nerve.

Yeah, you're right. He must have caught that ankle or knee injury from Nedved.

Healy broke several ribs weight lifting the first day of training camp. He was out for almost 8 weeks.

Maybe the Ranger organization should assign someone to watch the players lift weights.
