I have been catching alot of Thrashers games on Center Ice (kovalchuk and Nurminen are on my fantasy team), and they seem to be falling behind early. Hopefully Buffalo will jump on them early tonight, and then play D.
But what a key game to blow. This team will never escape the realm of .500. And it's almost comical how the outcomes of these home tilts against the likes of the Wild and the Thrashers are becoming so predictable. One step forward, two steps back...blah.
Why would Ruff throw Peters on the ice on the end of game? No need.
He deserved to be kicked in the nuts for that. Or fined. Peters definitely wasn't in there to score goals.
Speaking of goals, I watched this game on the dish. You guys really need a number one goalie. Biron is, never was, and never will be the answer.
It's great to see Pyatt finally coming into his own. I guess his emergence officially means Connolly is a bust. I remember everyone with the Islanders saying Connolly would be better than Pyatt. Hmmmm....

I agree, Marty has shown he has possibilities of being a number one, but he just teases us with it, because then games like this he has brain farts, senior moments, where he just forgets what he's doing out there, his focus is gone, this was a game we could have had, the coverage was good but marty just couldnt handle it.
