Well that sucked. After dominating the riders in the regular season we have to choke the second year in a row? I think Burris is one of the nicest athletes ever but maybe we should have gone with McManus in the second half.
I'm just about tired of watching a team that could win it all choke in the first round because their quarterback can't keep from throwing seventeen interceptions every time the opposing defense mounts a little pressure.
In all seriousness, good game tonight guys. It was obvious that Burris was the weakest link for you tonight. He just wasn't generating any sort of offense. Howel had a great game, I'd say he was the best player on the field.
Man, this has been a brutal past two years. Higgins has got to go. Sure he may be a nice guy, but losing two home playoff games in back to back years is unacceptable. Sure we can put it all on Burris, but how many undeciplined penalties did the Stamps take today.
Man I thought it was tough last year when we basically handed Edmonton that win, but this year takes the cake.
What can I say? My expectations for the Stamps are higher than my expectations for the Esks.
my expectations are to win the Grey Cup, just like every other year...which is why we have 13 Grey Cups...it's the Cup or bust

Joseph played pretty bad too. All Burris had to do was play like he did without tossing interceptions. He clearly lost this team the game. If he had thrown 0 TD's and cut down on the interceptions Calgary would have won.
Reynolds looked like his mind was clearly on securing the football, which made him alot less effective.
Burris was doing too much and not thinking about last year, Reynolds wasn't doing enough and was thinking too much. Polar opposites.
I had lots of fun at the game, decked out in my Riders green and white, armed with marshmallows and green streamers. It would have been a LONG walk back had we lost...but we didn't.
BTW, you can keep Burris.

Hey you can be honest... it wasn't a very good game. Both Quarterbacks played like crap, penalties and turnovers galore, but the main thing is you guys came out on top. Hopefully, your game against BC will be a lot better. But that being said... glad you had fun at the game, and good luck with the rest of the playoffs.

Well Burris played like crap. 4 INTs and 2 fumbles...
Joseph played like crap the first have, save the one drive at the dying seconds of the 2nd quarter. Keith played like crap until his two game breaking runs.
Security at McMahon is weak...but that's okay with us! They let us get away with a LOT more than anywhere else in the leauge, and they weren't even jerks about it. They didn't even make me give up my booze.
The Stamps fans were pretty good, except for the one jerk in front of us. He tried to call on a few people to fight. Didn't happen though, and I think we pelted him with more marshmallows than the rest. But he deserved it.
It would have been a LONG walk home had we lost. But today I can wear my Riders green prouder than ever. Though I got some crap on the Ctrain because of it.
