Mario Tremblay Leaving the wilds?

Just heard it on RIS ... apparently Mario Tremblay asked the Wilds to free him from his contract... if this is true, it surely means that he's coming to montreal...

Maybe not, he might want to come back in the medias.

Anyway he'd do a good assistant coach, he's a very good motivator and must have learned a lot under Lemaire.

Maybe Patrick wants to just be the G.M. for the Remparts next year and he's hoping his old buddy will take over the coaching reigns.LOL

Tremblay wasnt good as an unexperienced coach. But he's a pretty good Assistant coach. And he's been doing it with one of the best coaches in the league.

Heard on RDS that the news that Tremblay will become the assistant of Carbo can become official before the draft.

If Tremblay came back to the Habs it would be undo everything Gainey has accomplished in the last two years.

It's such freaking how you compare the Mario Tremblay from de 90's and the Tremblay from 2000's. I know many of you hated him because of his many errors in the past AS A COACH, but he would be a great competitive ASSISTANT COACH eith the Habs. He knows how to deal with the medias (even if it was not the case in the past), he knows the coaching staff, he speaks French, he loves the team....Should I mentionne other things ? He is probably the best guy in terms of coaching ability, experience, competitive guy etc...

I think Robinson or Savard could do just as good a job if not better.

Great news Tremblay is a very good assistant coach......He learns a lot with Lemaire and we need this type of assistant....

Anyway we have a good coach in Carbo and a good GM in BG so I'm not worry about or staff....

I was in favor for Robinson but maybe Carbo wants some friend like Muller, Savard or Tremblay before a Larry Robinson????

I remember reading somewhere him saying that if Gainey asked for his survices as assitant coach that he would leave the wild.
