Here is the link to the story on RDS :

http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chronique...N3FA9809E.html

It also says that Begin did not skate today, due to his shoulder injury versus Edmonton. I read in the article that he wanted to come back, but the doctors wouldn't let him .

Julien apparently tried out some new line combos today, too. Supposedly, he had Hossa - Ribeiro - Ryder and Zednik - Perreault - Audette. Does that mean Bulis will be scratched? Or did he aggrivate his thigh by playing??

I don't think it means a whole lot as Julien is just trying things during practice and it doesn't mean those will be the final lines for the game Friday.

However, If those are indeed two lines he wants to use, then I think it's a good thing as it would mean Ryder goes back to the right wing (his natural position) and Zednik goes back to the left (a position where I also beleive he looked better in the past).

Of course I'd also like Audette to be scratched but that's an other story...

Is there any timetable for his return?

AND you think we have a size issue now!!! Imagine an offensive line of:

Souray, Rivet, Bouillion, Brisebois, and Quintal

WE'D BE 0-8!!!!!!

Koivu had 3 major knee injuries. He is slower than before his first knee injury in '96. If this is more serious than it was expected, what's next? Another major knee injury and his carreer is over. I mean he can always come back after another knee surgery but he will be so slow that he will become a 3rd liner at best.

Lindros=Koivu
Lindros=another concussion; carreer over
Koivu=another serious knee injury; carreer over

2 on the same (this one is fragile, another injury and bye-bye Koivu's carreer)
1 on the other one is this is this one he is injured now? anyway any knee injury in his case is career serious.
The last major surgery he had nails to fix the ligament to his bone. Yukk !!!

What Mother Nature has done naturally, man with his technology can't surpass. We are not yet able to rebuilt better than nature, we are not in science-fiction like Six million Dollar man. Bobby Orr was maybe the best player ever, his both knee injury had slow him down too much, he ended his career too soon. With today's medical technology we have much better surgeries but Mother Nature is better by a mile.
