Best guess is Felix Potvin, who has allowed just 2 goals in his last three starts.

potvin, most likely.

i think you may see the cat on saturday vs. dallas as well, especially if he comes up with another strong performance.

Yup, definately time for the Cat to take the ball and run with it.

I Wouldnt Just Give Potvin The Ball Just Yet

I dont think it makes sense to annoint one as the #1 just yet.

I`d still go with the Cat tonight....but I`d come back with Raycroft for the following game.

Andrew has been a bit shaky the past couple times out. He has gotten into the bad habit of leaving a TON of rebounds out there. His defense has covered this up pretty well for the most part. But, I think you still need to give him the crease on a pretty regular basis.

But if the 2 of them keep playing as they are, in a month and a half to 2 months, I would without question make it very clear that Felix Potvin is the #1 guy!

Both are playing very well....I just think that Potvin has played a bit better.

To that end, I have much more confidence in Potvin getting us some postseason wins, than I do with Raycroft! But I think you go with the vet and let Raycroft watch and learn about NHL postseason hockey.

Later
