What about Nagy?

Seems like he could be the fix we need on left wing.

Could we trade for him?
Do we have what the Yotes need?
What would be the Price?

Would he be an upgrade from Zednik?

Another small, fragile euro ? ... why not

Nah, I don't think he would be a good fit in Montreal.

I think he want close to 4 million or 3.5 million, dont like it that much. But i will take nagy in my pool since he deliver and you can take him a little bit late.

"Vest reports Nagy made $1.9 million last season and is expected to seek at least twice that much for next season."

from Spectors hockey

I don't know about you but Zednik is not even close to being in Nagy's class.Nagy is a great player and can actually win a game by himself.Zednik on the other hand is an average 3rd line player. The only reason he get's points here in Montreal is because they give him first line dutty .Phoenix will want youth back, maybe Ryder and pick.

I would kill my mother to get him.

Too bad he's always injured because he would definitly be one of the top 10-15 wingers in the league

Nagy is way better then Zednik. He's weaker tho but he's more skilled duh. I'd acquire him since he'd be a good fit in our top 6, Higgins could be second line LW at times. He's injury prone and all but he's young and can be dominant. So yes, I'd trade for him.

I wouldn't take him, we got enough talent coming up to fill the spot he would take

Nagy had a real bad knee injury this year and missed the final 29 or 30 games. I'd want to wait and see how this will affect Nagy's game before being willing to trade for him.

According to Slovak newspapers, he's retired; he even declined to join the national team.

wow...if that's the case, he'll have had a REALLY short carreer. which pretty much sucks for the guy. He was good...not as good as Bure, but ya know...

Nagy is really good but he's had two major injuries in the past three seasons. If he could stay healthy he'd easily be worth $4million, but I don't think Montreal can afford another small, injury prone forward at $4million + per season.

Also, I believe Gretzky is quite high on him and Phoenix won't trade him.

Anyway, I could care less about what he said during a game... With all the emotions there's during a hockey game, I can understand that he said something he didnt really thought just like we all do in our life.

All that said, I don't think Nagy is available. The Coyotes really need exactly what he brings in a sniping presence on the wing, and I don't think he's a candidate to be traded. Or if he is, then it probably does say something bad about his health.

Great player with as many or ever more injuries then Captain K. Do we really need another player like that? No thanks. It is kind of sad, always makes me wonder how a guy like him or Saku might have done without injuries.
