Deserves... I'm not sure about that.... but with a new coach he might get a chance to show his worth again and earn a spot.

Where would you play him??

I'm at a lose for his position.... he's not going to excel in a 4th line role and the #3 line is Kesler's at the moment.

Kesler most likely will be moved permanently to the right wing, so the 3rd line centre spot is open as of right now.

Sedin-Sedin-Kesler???

If Carter can't/won't be resigned we just might see Mrs. Kesler's young son skating with the Twins.

Because that's exactly what the Sedins need. A winger with a frisbee of a shot.

I've seen Kesler practice quite a bit and the first thing I noticed was how hard his snapper was. He's got a good shot, he just has to learn how to adjust and use it properly at the pro level.

Kesler is the exact opposite of the Sedins. They need someone a bit slower with better hands.

are you sure he is permanently slated for the wing.... Ive not seen or heard anything to this regard.

unless the assistant coaches have been playing pretend with the media and us - gullible fans.

he is a natural centre and has less than an impressive shot at the moment. his speed down the wing is nice as a weapon... now if he could just work on a Messier release off the wing that would be impressive. like his grit - thou he needs to slow his game down a notch... but not his skating speed.

definitely has potential and your idea of being a winger... might be an option that could give us some different looks.

Reid can play right wing fine.
