OT: Next year's playoff predictions

My prediction for next year is that Vancouver makes it to the finals and loses in 7 games to a southern U.S team. Remember you heard it hear first.

i concur!

calgary vs TB, game 7 TB wins

EDM vs Carolina, Game 7 Car wins

Vancouver VS Atlanta ?
see a pattern?

bettman needs a canadian team to make the final in order to optimize canadian fan base interest, but in the end, Some silly US team will win in order to promote hockey in the USA.
maybe next year it will be:

ottawa vs Anaheim

@#!%* Bettman

No way, we'd win that one and Koivu would, yet again, own Thornton and Komisarek would ***** slap Jail House Joe as he did 2 years ago.

No! I got a better pattern:

1989: Calgary went to the cup finals (won)
1990: Edmonton went to the cup finals (won)
1993: We went to the cup finals (won)
1994: Vancouver went to the cup finals (lost)

If you follow the pattern, we should make the finals next after Calgary and Edmonton.

In my pattern it should be the habs vs a pacific team, and the eastern team wins

Montreal vs. the next sucker in line

C'mon, we all know 06-07 is the Habs' year. They were just teasing us this year so we could get Muller back to finally get the party started.

I feel it will be an all-canadian stanley cup next year.......

Montreal vs Calgary

I think that Calgary only need a good #1 Center for Iginla and they are in buisness

For Montreal let's just say It's our turn to go in final after 2 time loosing against the champ

Same thing for Montreal the need another big C, like Demers said yesterday on RDS, they have a good defence and Higgins, Plekanec, Perezhogin will just be better next year, so let's hope!!!

Gainey and Gillette also predicted a cup by 09...and according to that pattern, Montreal shall reach the Finals in 09 so...

Picture this one...

We make the finals against the Shark. Game 7, Saku, Kovy and Higgins all get injured in the first.

Who skates out to take the opening face off...

CARBO-MULLER-GAINEY!!!

ahhhh one can only dream
