What are you doing this weekend?

This is gearing up to be a crazy week in Montréal, with Madonna at the Bell Centre Wednesday and Thursday night, the St-Jean-Baptiste and Grand Prix festivities this weekend and the Francofolies.

So what are your plans for the weekend?

Seriously, I'm gonna go out to celebrate my country QUEBEC !!
But as far as the other choices mentionned, I'd much rather have a route canal done than go to a Madonna concert; and the only thing I can think of that's duller than watching F1 on TV is actually going to a race

This weekend? .... On Saturday a case of beer and watch the draft and post on these boards. On Sunday, I'll be packing because Monday I am headed to Alberta to work in the oil fields. I am an Electrician and heard many rumours of there being a big demand out that way for them. On Monday, I am filling out insurance claims as my house here was broken into Sunday night and robbed.

Now, that is a busy weekend

Good luck getting on these boards on draft day! That's usually a lost cause. (And fwiw, I don't think the sponsor front-of-the-line fringe benefit things works either, at least, it never seems to for me.)

There's a huge need for all drafts men out here in Alberta, in or out of the oil fields. The amount of work available in this province is insane pretty much in every industry.

I'll celebrate La fête nationale the 23 on Les plaines d'Abraham, not too sure about the 24.

Actually this time around it was a new guy who started it.

Which is a nice change of pace.
